Day 1 - Arrival

Departure from the Edinburgh or London Gatwick (or Iceland/Denmark) to Vágar/Faroe Islands. Transport from the airport to your hotel.

Enjoy your day in the worlds smallest capital by taking a walk in the old part of town “úti á Reyni” and one of the worlds oldest parliament “Tinganes”.

Day 2 - Explore or take an optional day tour for extra cost

Today is a perfect day to take an optional excursion. We can offer you a broad selection of excursions on the various islands that make up the Faroes. Below are examples of some of the most popular options:

Panorama and Vestmanna birdcliffs: A bus ride along the mountain roads to Vestmanna where you sail to the bird cliffs. After the sail trip, stop at the ancient Viking settlements at Kvívík and then return to Tórshavn.

Northern Islands: Full day tour to the northern islands, a cluster of small islands characterised by steep mountainsides rising up from the sea with a local guide. See the stunning views of the islands Fugloy, Svínoy, Borðoy and Kunoy. Along the way you will also visit the Christian Church in Klaksvík and the Viking settlements in Leirvík.

Day 3-4 - Unwind and explore Tórshavn

Tórshavn is a beautiful and charming city with a lovely park trail in the centre. Great for a gentle stroll around the colourful buildings.

Relax at one of the cosy cafes down by the harbour and see the boats by the marina or have a look at the Listasavn Føroya National Gallery.

Day 4 - Departure

Transport to the airport. Departure from Vágar/Faroe Islands to the UK (or Iceland/Denmark).
