How to Drive in Iceland
You need a valid driving license and credit card for authorisation to be able to drive in Iceland. Be aware of what you are covered for within your travel insurance policy before going on holiday. If you do not have travel insurance from the UK Hertz can provide extra insurances on top of the basic insurance, Collision Damage Waiver CDW, that is included in your rental. Hertz offers additional cover such as SCDW, sand/ash storm cover and more options available.
